Henning et al. on inhibition in fly motion reviewed in eLife:

Miriam and colleagues added an important piece to the puzzle of motion-detection circuits. In a paper, soon to be published in eLife, Henning et al. showed that GABAergic inhibitory feedback plays a role in the establishment of direction-selective responses and in sharpening behavioral responses to moving stimuli.
